Justin Bieber demonstrated his very goofy side in a music video for his lighthearted track "I Feel Funny," which was published to YouTube on Tuesday. He was once such a cute singer when he became a household name, but years have made him quite serious all the time.
Cole Bennett, the director, claimed that the entire minute-and-thirty-second graphic was shot on Justin's iPhone and was created solely for fun.
It was taken "in between takes" as Justin was filming the music video for his next track "Honest."
Cole stated in the video's description that they'd been "joking around about doing" the new music video for "I Feel Funny" for a while after Justin emailed him the song.
The video begins with the 28-year-old singer donning nothing but a grey hooded sweatshirt and his underwear and placing a neon orange ski mask over his face.
He's inside his trailer, surrounded by clothing racks.
Justin dons his mask and slips on a pair of baggy denim blue trousers to begin his high jinks.
'This sh** dicey / You entice me / What's your sign? / I'm a Pisces, please don't spite me,' raps the star as he dances around the different trailers, production crew members and equipment on set.
Justin appears in several images wearing an all-white ensemble and is joined by his Honest colleague Don Toliver.
Don is seen removing costly sunglasses from a package carried by a member of the production team, while Justin continues to lip sync.
Please no fighting / I don't got energy / Please just hype me,' the Canadian crooner continues. He briefly removed his mask over his face and smiled at the camera.
He then makes his way to the soundstage on which "Honest" is being filmed. In the distance, hordes of camera equipment and a massive blue screen can be seen.
According to Cole, Justin enjoyed popping by the set on a casual basis to see how things were progressing.
Justin strikes an odd position and begins heating a rack of clothing in his trailer, displaying his humourous side once more.
"I found a pocket / I hold the game and I won't drop it (I won't)," the Baby hitmaker raps, cutting from the trailer to the set to his outdoor moments with Don Toliver.
Justin is shown on top of a snowmobile in full ski gear, with the large blue screen behind him, giving fans a sneak peak at the upcoming and lengthier "Honest" music video.
