Harry Styles is making history again a few days after the release of his latest album "Harry's House" and he surpassed his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift's previous record in the modern era.
According to Billboard, the former One Direction member's new record amassed a whopping 146,000 copies of vinyl in the United States only three days after its release (May 20 to May 22).
The outlet noted that his sales are expected to go up over the next few days.
Per UPROXX, the number one album on the Billboard 200 charts will be revealed and it's a strong indication that the singer will take the lead on top.
If Styles will be successful in achieving this mileston, he will dethrone Kendrick Lamar's "Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers."
It will also be his third consecutive number one album in the US and third to debut in the peak position.
The previous record holder for vinyl sales was Taylor Swift who sold 114,000 copies by November 18, 2021.
Her album, "Red (Taylor's Version), had the biggest vinyl sales for an album since Luminate began tracking sales in 1991.

Harry Styles became a household name in recent years as he amassed millions of fans worldwide, meaning, he constantly breaks record from here and there.
The latest vinyl sales report comes a month after the singer graced this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival were his headlining set amassed a shocking 100,000 people.
In addition, there was a 20,000 audience in acts on secondary stages, like the Sahara tent.
Styles surprised fans with a performance from country legend Shania Twain. The duo belted out her smash hits "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" and "Still the One."
A Song From 'Harry's House' Was About Taylor Swift?
Days before Harry Styles dethroned his ex-girlfriend in the recent vinyl sales record, one particular song from his latest album is getting quite an attention as many fans alleged that it's about Swift.
According to Elite Daily, the song "Little Freak" feature the lyrics, "I disrespected you / Jumped in feet first and I landed too hard." Now, he's nostalgic about his previous lover: "I'm not worried about where you are / Or who you will go home to / I'm just thinking about you."
Fans took to Reddit to break down the song, saying it's linked to his relationship with the "Out of the Woods" hitmaker.
