The Killers is currently touring across Europe, and during their show in Manchester, England, the unthinkable happened to an older man who only wanted to see the band up close.

According to iHeart, an old fan was crowd surfing while the group was performing one of their hits.

Unfortunately, the man dropped while he was doing the stunt. Frontman Brandon Flowers immediately stopped the show to check on his fan.

"Who drops a guy? Who dropped him? Is he OK? His head's bleeding a bit, let's take care of him," he said.

The singer left the stage and quickly ran to the fan to give him a big hug. He later found out that the man's name is Billy, and he's around 67 to 68 years old.

"I said, 'Billy, what are you doing?' and you know what he said? He said: 'I'm enjoying meself,'" Flowers said upon returning on stage.

The crowd went on to cheer his name as he was being escorted by staff.

This is not the first heartwarming fan interaction that happened to The Killers this month, as the band made someone's dream come true when they invited a fan on stage to play the drums.

In early reports, a man named Kyle Grieve revealed he attended two consecutive shows of the group in Falkirk on June 6 and 7.

The fan brought a sign during the Monday show asking the band if he could play the drums. Flowers noticed and told him, "If you want to play on this stage, you have to mean business."

Grieve was up for the challenge as he returned the next evening by bringing a sign with his response, "tonight I mean business."

The frontman was convinced and let him take over Ronnie Vannucci's drum kit to play "For Reasons Unknown."

The fan shared his experience in an interview with BBC News, saying going up on stage and playing with his favorite band was a dream come true.

"It's all I ever wanted to do. The Killers were my biggest influence, it's because of them I took up the drums," he told the media giant.

Before the second show, Grieve said he practiced another round of the band's songs.

When he was called on stage, the man revealed his "stomach sunk" and couldn't believe that his dreams were finally happening.
