Get ready, kids and Disney babies! "Frozen 3" is officially coming!
Kristen Bell graced "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon," and hinted that the well-loved Disney flick might be getting a third installment after all.
Bell, who voiced Anna in the first two films, noted that she may (or may not) be returning with Idina Menzel in the studio to bring the sister princesses back to life.
'Frozen 3' Coming Soon 'Officially'
In an interview with "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon," Kristen Bell spilled some beans on the status of her highly-anticipated project.
Prompted by Fallon if there is an update on the next movie in the "Frozen" franchise, Kristen Bell hesitantly announced that "Frozen 3" would be coming.
"I'd like to officially announce, with zero authority, Frozen 3," "The Good Place actress said.
However, she pointed out people should bear in mind that she announced the third film with "zero authority."
Fallon, who declared that he liked the sequel more than the 2013 hit classic, questioned is quite skeptical.
"Well, you know, I'm- I'll keep it mysterious, but I know Idina [Menzel] recently said she would do it and I feel like if we're all in, like, what are we waiting for? Let's do it," Bell said.
Is Kristen Bell Returning as Anna in 'Frozen 3'?
As nothing has been cast in stone yet, fans of the film, and Fallon, want Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel to reprise their roles as Anna and Elsa, respectively.
The Golden Globe nominee has expressed that she wanted to take on the role should she be offered it again.
"You guys can take it, I would do it in a heartbeat. I love that family. Listen if we are both in, what are we waiting for?" Bell told Good Morning America initially
And per Kristen, Idina Menzel is also down on playing the role again for "Frozen 3."
Frozen Film Franchise in Box Office
Menzel and Bell played a significant role in the commercial and cultural success of "Frozen" in theatres.
Garnering $1.280 billion at the box office, "Frozen" has birthed hits like "Let It Go," which was certified 8x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America and reached #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
The first film won the Oscars for Best Animated Feature, while "Let It Go" sealed the award for Best Original Song.
