Shocking new claims have emerged against Ike Turner's alleged sexual behavior towards former Ikette, P.P. Arnold.
The soul singer's shocking revelation was all in her new memoir, "Soul Survivor," which detailed a dark period in her career.
PP Arnold Claims Ike Turner Raped Her
Speaking to The Telegraph, P.P. Arnold bravely told the world about the alleged sexual assault that Ike Turner had done on her.
"What can I say? It was awful. I despised Ike on that level, but I didn't know how to express myself," Arnold explained.
Apparently, Arnold claims that Ike Turner trapped her in a hotel room before sexually assaulting her.
"I was told Tina wanted to get rid of me because Ike was after me. If I had run to Tina or called my parents, it would have meant I would have [had] to come home," she pointed out.
Similarly, Tina Turner also accused Ike of sexual and physical assault, which eventually led the former to file a divorce.
For Arnold, going home at the time she was an Ikette was not a choice - fearing that she would suffer "further violence" from her then-husband, who had "deep anger."
However, with a great friendship that formed between Arnold and Rolling Stones vocalist Mick Jagger, she eventually decided to leave the band and stay in London.
PP Arnold Music Career
In the same year she left, Arnold recorded her debut album, The First Lady of Immediate, and Kafunta on the succeeding year. The latter album featured arrangements from John Paul Jones before he was even in Led Zeppelin.
Unlike in the United States, P.P. Arnold made much more noise in the United Kingdom. Arnold also took on a cover of Cat Stevens' The First Cut in the Deepest and a John Paul Jones-produced cover of Angel of the Morning.
PP Arnold, Mick Jagger Sexual Relationship
Ike's horrific sexual advances were not the only shocking revelation in P.P. Arnold's memoir.
The soul songstress also mentioned that she had a "brief dalliance" with Mick Jagger and her girlfriend, Marianne Faithfull.
Arnold also claimed to have been impregnated by Mick Jagger - but they, later on, had an abortion, particularly noting that the Rolling Stones frontman just sent her flowers from Morroco instead of being with her on the termination.
