Bad news for The Pretty Reckless fans! The band's upcoming shows have been canceled after singer Taylor Momsen confirmed that she tested positive for COVID-19.
Taking to her Instagram account, the singer shared a series of posts, including a photo of her positive result, captioned, "Yup... FML."
Since the singer is currently suffering from the virus, the alternative rock band was forced to cancel the first three dates of their highly-anticipated tour alongside Halestorm.
In a statement, the band wrote, "Despite our best efforts, COVID finally bit. We could not wait to get back on the road with our friends in Halestorm, but wait we will have to."
The affected dates are listed below:
- July 7 - Milwaukee, WI
- July 8 - Detroit, MI
- July 10 - Kansas City, MO
"We hope to feel better soon and will make it out to the very first venue we can, so stay tuned for real time updates," the band concluded.
The co-headlining tour was supposed to begin at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
After the cancellation, their next show would be at the TCU Ampitheater at White River State Park in Indianapolis, Indiana, on July 12.

As of this writing, the band has not announced whether their next show is canceled or not.
According to People Magazine, Taylor Momsen started as an actress in the industry. Her most notable role would be Jenny Humphrey on "Gossip Girl."
Speaking to the outlet about launching her band while playing the role on the show in 2009, saying she initially thought her time wearing stripper heels and outrageous outfits was only a phase.
However, she clarified that it didn't feel like a phase but instead, her authentic self that loves dressing her own way.
"Like anyone, I grew and I matured. But rock and roll was never a phase," she added.
Since she was a kid, the singer said she always wanted to be a part of a band, not a solo artist, because she aspired to be as big as The Beatles, not Elvis Presley.
"I wanted to be The Beatles because who wants to do this alone? Life is lonely in general, and I always wanted to have my best friends on my side. I'm really lucky that I found that," she added.
Aside from Momsen, The Pretty Reckless members include Jamie Perkins, Ben Phillips, and Mark Damon.
