There has been a massive development on Trey Songz's 20 million dollar rape lawsuit, and it is working in favor of him.
Earlier this year, the I Gotta Make It hitmaker was hit with a huge rape lawsuit from an anonymous woman - one of the four sexual assault allegations that came up in over a year.
As of this writing, details of the mysterious woman who claimed she was raped remain hidden, contrary to the other lawsuits that were highly publicized.
Trey Songz Rape Lawsuit From Unnamed Woman Mysteriously Dropped
Last February 2022, Jane Doe sued Tremaine Aldon Neverson, formally known as Trey Songz, for anally raping her at a party in 2016.
Doe claimed that the Virginia MC assaulted her and threw her to the ground before tearing her clothes and raping her. As per the victim, Neverson still forcefully shoved himself inside her despite repeatedly telling him "No" and begging him to stop.
After the traumatic incident, the mysterious woman left the party via an Uber and had her taken to the nearby hospital, where she was treated. But due to the trauma in her anus, the doctor advised at the time that she had a "severe anal tearing" that could require surgery.
In her complaint, Jane Doe particularly noted that she had a casual and occasionally sexual relationship with Neverson before the alleged rape.
Per Doe, she did not initially name Tremaine as the attacker to the police as she feared for her life - claiming that she had been suffering from "fear, anxiety, humiliation, depression, and other physical and emotional injuries, and damages," since the sexual assault.
Rolling Stone recently reported that the mysterious Jane Doe asked the presiding judge last June to dismiss the rape lawsuit without prejudice. It was only this Wednesday, July 6, that the judge granted the huge request on the multi-million dollar case.
No any other details were revealed on what pushed Jane Doe to make such a huge request, as her team remained silent on the issue.
Trey Songz has been sued by four different women in over a year. Last December 2021, Jauhara Jeffries refiled an assault lawsuit in Miami, while former Basketball star Dylan Gonzales also came forward after nine years to reveal that she had also met the same horrendous fate with Tremaine.
Last April, Megan Johnson demanded a $5 million settlement from the rapper for a sexual assault too.
