Pink had a pretty direct response last month to the conservative-majority Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 ruling that safeguarded a woman's right to have an abortion.

It was clear she would be getting some backlash because of it, but the singer did not care. And true enough, there was a challenge for her to just shut up and sing.

Pink naturally took up the challenge, since she's not one to back down from anything, even from an insulting dare.

After a lengthy hiatus from Twitter over the past few weeks, P!nk did exactly what the haters wanted to see her do, instead of sharing her opinions.

In a 16-second video upload titled "irrelevant #shutupandsing #challengeaccepted," she gives the audience what they want by staring directly into the camera.

She sings a cappella as she squints at the camera, presses her fingers together, smiles, and releases a series of fun da-da-da- da's before singing, "You can call me irrelevant, insignificant, you can try to make me small." It was an apparent reference to what haters were saying about her over her opinion.

P!nk's followers were so captivated by the clip that a lot of them implored in the comments for her to record and release it as a song, despite the fact that it appeared to be a humorous jab at her detractors.

Other than the hashtags and minimal lyrics, P!nk did not specify the reason for posting the video, but it looks to be a response to the criticism she received for essentially stating her emotions back in June 25.

"love me as I am or leave me. "Let's be clear: if you believe the government belongs in a woman's uterus, a gay persons business or marriage, or that racism is okay- THEN PLEASE IN THE NAME OF YOUR LORD NEVER F-ING LISTEN TO MY MUSIC AGAIN. AND ALSO F- RIGHT OFF. We good?" the singer wrote at the time.

At the moment, one Twitter user's response that he had "never had an abortion" attracted P!nk's attention.

The commenter, an elderly man, said he has never been with a woman who has aborted his child. The nicest thing his wife and I have ever done was to give our son and his girlfriend their full support, thereby saving their grandchild from death.

"I'm so glad you HAD THE CHOICE TO DECIDE WHAT WAS RIGHT FOR YOU, SIR. Must be nice," she replied. And when another follower joked, "I hope her agent survives the stroke," P!nk was quick to reply. "I am my agent. We're fine," she replied.
