Lady Gaga has collaborated with several artists over the past few years like Tony Bennett, Ariana Grande, and the musicians who contributed to her recent remix album. Recently, fans are hoping that the pop star team up with one of the legendary R&B stars in the industry.

Taking to her official Twitter account, Alicia Keys posted a thread where she will answer a few fan questions.

One user requested that she should do a ballad song with Lady Gaga.

The "If I Ain't Got You" songstress did not hesitate and quote-retweeted the post with a GIF of Will Smith on "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" where he appeared to be starstruck before falling on the couch.

She captioned the post with "If me and @ladygaga collab," along with bang emojis.

Following this, many fans immediately bombarded the reply section to express their excitement.

"PLEASE WE ARE BEGGING AND CRYING," one wrote.

"I would love it. Two New Yorkers going at in on a piano. Would love to hear what they come up with if they get into a studio together and start from scratch. Don't know if their voices will mix well though, but that's hard to tell," another one wrote.

One fan suggested that music producer Blood Pop should've tapped Alicia Keys to do a remix of Gaga's Target exclusive song "Love Me Right" on "Dawn of Chromatica."

As of this writing, Lady Gaga has not publicly responded to the singer's tweet and it hasn't been confirmed if the two are doing a collaboration.

Other Powerhouse Collaboration by Gaga and Another Iconic Female Artist

In 2013, Lady Gaga shocked TV viewers during her performance at the finale of "The Voice" as coach Christina Aguilera appeared on stage to do a collaboration for the song "Do What U Want."

The "ARTPOP" track originally had R. Kelly on the second verse, but it was scrapped from the album and music streaming services after his allegations made rounds.

Gaga and Aguilera later released an official studio version of the song due to popular demand.

By the end of their performance, Gaga explained that the collaboration happened after she was asked to perform on the show, she revealed that she would only sing if the "Reflection" singer agrees to do it with her.

Aguilera later commended Gaga for being "the most down-to-earth real person" she had ever met in the industry.
