Jennifer Hudson is celebrating her 41st Birthday with a bang - the pilot episode of her talk show, "The Jennifer Hudson Show."

But that's not all; a very unlikely guest will join her as a guest that many people would consider a huge reunion for television.

Hudson recently made history as the third Black artist to win all four coveted awards in the entertainment industry - Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony.

'The Jennifer Hudson Show' Pilot Guest

According to PEOPLE Magazine, former "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell is confirmed to be the first guest on "The Jennifer Hudson Show" in its premiere episode.

For Hudson, this guesting is a dream come true since she has already expressed that she wanted Cowell to be a guest on her first-ever talk show.

In an interview with KERA-TV, Hudson says getting Cowell as a guest would be "so interesting."

"Idol was 18 years ago so why not? I think people will be interested who've followed my journey for 20 years. See us sit down and see us have a conversation. I think that would be awesome to do. And then it's like, uh-huh! "Now, Simon, you're sitting on my couch!" So he's on my wish list, among many others," Hudson told the outlet at the time.

The upcoming "American Idol" reunion would be the first time that the EGOT-winner would sit across the reality show star onscreen since Hudson's elimination from the competition in 2004.

"The Jennifer Hudson Show" will is set to premiere in the United States on September 12 and is distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic TV. It will also be airing on Sinclair Broadcast Group, TEGNA, Scripps Media, Gray Media Group, and Hearst Television, among many others. (via Billboard)

Jennifer Hudson Receives Tony Award, Completes EGOT Trophies

A week ago, Jennifer Hudson received the cherry on top of her EGOT achievement as her Tony Award finally arrived in the mail, completing her trophies.

To date, Jennifer Hudson is the third Black artist (and the second Black female) who will be part of the EGOT roster, next to John Legend and Whoopi Goldberg.

Hudson made it to the list thanks to "A Strange Loop," which won a Tony for Best Musical. She won her Oscar for Best Supporting Actress as Effie White in "Dreamgirls." She then received a GRAMMY for her debut album and "The Color Purple's" soundtrack album. Her Emmy win was awarded to her work "Baba Yaga," which won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Interactive Media for a Daytime Program.
