PnB Rock was killed during a botched heist, and video of the terrible and horrifying scenario has leaked on social media, notably on Twitter.

The horrific footage showed Rakim Hasheem Allen, the rapper's true name, laying in a pool of blood while surrounded by guards and staff inside a Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles restaurant.

The footage showed him still struggling for his life when the news of his shooting was broadcast.

According to the Los Angeles Times and TMZ, the rapper died at the hospital after gunshots erupted at the eatery.

The Los Angeles Police Department verified that a gunshot occurred in South Los Angeles, but they refused to identify the victim.

The "Middle Child" rapper was on a date with girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang when an unknown suspect entered with a revolver and demanded that he hand over his belongings.

According to LAPD Captain Kelly Muniz, "he shot the victim and rushed out the side door to a getaway car and then escaped the parking lot."

She went on to say that while PnB Rock may have been targeted for his jewels, he was declared dead at 1:59 PM owing to many shots fired during his and the suspect's shoot exchange.

The gunman has yet to be identified and apprehended as of this writing. According to TMZ, the "Selfish" hitmaker appeared to be the lone target because no one else in the restaurant was shot or killed.

Meanwhile, on Twitter, social media users spoke on the horrifying incident, with one Twitter user posting, "Out of towners thinking LA is fun and games. Clout ain't worth ya life."

Another Twitter user urged rappers to stop flaunting their money and jewelry wherever they go.

"Need to stop with that jewlery/cash flashing stuff too cause there's some hungry people out there with nothin to eat and nothing to lose stay safe."

Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Jake Paul all paid their respects to the musician.

PnB Rock was born in Philadelphia but raised in Los Angeles.

He was just 19 years old when he was motivated to compose music after hearing Drake's album "Take Care," and his debut mixtape was published in June 2014, followed by a deal with Atlantic Records in 2015.

Rolling Stone named him one of the top "10 New Artists You Need to Know" the following year.

PnB Rock was 30 years old at the time of his death.
