After a seven-year absence from the music scene, they are undergoing an epic comeback. Blue, the boyband that captured the hearts of many in the early 2000s, is back with their newest hit.
Blue have released their new single "Magnetic," which will appear on their next album "Heart and Soul." It follows the arrest of the band's lead vocalist, Lee Ryan, for intimidating and irrational behavior on a British Airways aircraft.
This is the third single off their upcoming sixth studio album, which will be their first album since 2015's Colours.
The album is rumored to be a return to their characteristic soulful sound, but it will also have fast and slow songs.
The band, comprised of Duncan James, Simon Webbe, Antony Costa, and Lee Ryan, stated that they have never done an album with only one style of music, but they actually accomplished that with this album. "Magnetic shows off all our different vocal styles and we love a ballad just as much as our up-tempo tracks! We can't wait for everyone to hear the album, we are so proud of it," they stated.
The latest single from the album follows the releases of the single "Haven't Found You Yet" and a version of "Dance With Me" by 112 from the 2000s.

Blue will embark on a 12-date arena tour of the United Kingdom later this year. Originally intended for September 2022, the band's reunion tour will now take place in December. It was supposed to commemorate two decades since the release of their chart-topping debut album, All Rise, in 2001, but the date has been pushed back.
The "One Love" hitmakers have already stated that they won't be partying hard on the tour commemorating the 20th anniversary of the publication of their debut album "All Rise," and they are doing everything possible to ensure they are in peak physical condition.
Lee shared, "I don't think we're that kind of band anymore. We have different ideas now. 'We want to put on a good show first and, being a bit older now, you can't do the dual thing of partying and putting on a good show."
Simon added, "We've got to see if we can do it physically!"
The band was formed in 2000 and has since released three studio albums with the titles All Rise, One Love, and Guilty. Duncan, Antony, Lee, and Simon released their debut compilation album, Best Of Blue, in 2004 after announcing a hiatus.
The trio reunited for the first time in January 2011 and sang I Can at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Dusseldorf, where they placed 11th. They subsequently issued two more studio albums, Roulette (2013) and Colours (2015).
In 2013, they performed alongside groups including Liberty X, Atomic Kitten, and 5ive as part of The Big Reunion.
