Kanye West and his longtime touring DJ, Million Dollar Mano, have parted ways. Yesterday (Aug. 13), the spinster/producer announced that West had fired him on Twitter, and then proceeded to go on a homophobic Twittter rant after rabid fans of the Yeezus rapper celebrated his departure.
"gonna have a fun day blocking this kanye stans that are happy I don't dj 4 him anymore hahahahaha!" Mano tweeted at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday.
Mano then preceded to call out West's most dedicated fans on the social networking site, saying that so-called "stans" want nothing more than to be in a sexual relationship with West, and that they're living vicariously through a celebrity who doesn't even know they exist.
Bizarre homophobic rants aside, as Gawker points out, it seems as though Mano was fired for a good reason… his inability to DJ on tour correctly. In a megacut of Yeezus Tour footage, Mano can be seen messing up repeatedly, leasing ‘Ye to awkwardly rap a cappella, turn things over to the audience or simply call out Mano to play the right track as music drops out or the wrong song completely gets played.

West dropping Mano also comes ahead of the release of the rapper’s seventh solo studio album, reportedly due out later this year.
