Taylor Swift is very well-known for leaving easter eggs and hints in her music since then.

Based on her initial description of the highly-awaited album, Swift noted that the songs were part of the "13 sleepless nights" of her life.

Just with this information alone, it could be said that the songs were inspired or a recollection of her actual life and past experiences.

In the newly released song "High Infidelity," Swifties are sent into a frenzy over decoding what a certain date meant in the singer's life.

"High infidelity. Put on your headphones and burn my city. Your picket fence is sharp as knives. I was dancing around, dancin' around. Do you really want to know where I was April 29th?" Taylor sang.

Like any other Swiftie, they decided to take matters into their own hands and scavenged the internet history of where Taylor Swift must have been on April 29?

Where Was Taylor Swift on April 29?

The only clue was the rather incomplete date. Because of this, Swifties had to piece together and track down 32 years back just to check where Swift was per year.

Some of the common deductions and research of Swifties turned up online.

Taylor Swift was at Dianna Agron's birthday party on Apr. 29, 2012. For some true-blooded Swifties, this bit might sound suspicious. According to HITC, Taylor Swift and Dianna Agron secretly dated at one point but it was never confirmed.

Another common theory that has been emerging is Apr. 29, 2016 - the day when Calvin Harris and Rihanna released "This Is What You Came For." One of Swift's rep confirmed months later that Swift had co-written the song under a pseudonym - at the time when the two were publicly dating.

However, that was not the only thing that happened on that specific date in 2016.

On the night of April 28, Swift attended Gigi Hadid's 21st birthday party in Los Angeles. Although this may seem farfetched, but it was likely that the celebration extended until after midnight, making it technically on April 29.

Swifties have pointed out that it was at that party that Swift actually met his now boyfriend, Joe Alwyn. If this would actually be the case, then it makes sense.

Outlets have widely reported that Alwyn and Swift met on the 2016 Met Gala last May 2, 2022, days after Hadid's birthday party.

However, without Taylor confirming it - nothing is set in stone - this could be a wild goose chase too, after all.

"Midnights," including its 3am edition, is already available on Spotify and Apple Music, and other streaming platforms.
