Yo Gotti is gearing up to release his forthcoming album The Art of Hustle and he recently announced the album's release date on The Angie Martinez Show, according to XXL.
During the interview, Gotti revealed that his next album will be released on Nov. 11. The Art of Hustle will serve as a follow-up to the Memphis rapper's I Am, which was released last November.
He previously revealed that the idea to do an album didn't hit him until after his performance at Hot 107.9′s Birthday Bash in Atlanta this past June.
"Man, I just decided on stage. I'm dropping an album this year," Gotti told MTV following his set. "Yo Gotti new album drops this year, fourth quarter. It's called, The Art Of Hustle. Just like that, no matter what we're dropping, get ready...I'ma give the streets the how layout, the rules of how I done it. It's The Art Of Hustle like The Art Of War. If everybody could do it, everybody would have money, won't be nobody in jail. It's like a book."
Aside from his music, Yo Gotti has been working on a film. The "Act Right" rapper will star alongside Snoop Dogg in Martin Shore's award-winning documentary Take Me To The River.
He is also slated to be featured on the film's soundtrack. He collaborated with late soul and blues balladeer Bobby "Blue" Bland for the project.
The soundtrack also features Mavis Staples, 8Ball and MJG, Otis Clay, Snoop Dogg, Terrance Howard, North Mississippi All-Stars and many more.
Take Me To The River: Music From The Motion Picture will be released September 9 and is now available for pre-order.
