Kanye West is slowly losing his friends and collaborators after his recent actions and behavior, and one of those who want nothing to do with him anymore is a fellow rapper, Pusha T.
The 45-year-old rapper was interviewed by the Los Angeles Times and asked about collaborating with the highly-controversial rapper, and Pusha T did acknowledge that working with West had been creatively liberating, but his recent behavior is inexcusable.
"Creatively, Ye has meant freedom to me," said Pusha T. "A lot of times, people would try to get me to change certain things about my process, change certain things about me lyrically, change certain things about the content.
Ye always saw Pusha for who he was, and knew how to take it to the next level.
And while he had given credit where credit is due, Pusha T also noted that West's blatant antisemitism is downright "disappointing."
"It's definitely affected me. It's been disappointing," he said when asked about what he thought about West's actions recently. "As a Black man in America, there is no room for bigotry or hate speech."
Questionable Behavior
On the other hand, Pusha T did not comment about West' aspiration to become the country's president.
According to reports, West has expressed his interest in running for office several times after losing the Presidential Election in 2020 and has since announced that he indeed has plans of running for office once again in 2024.
A White House representative commented on West's decision and ideologies, "Bigotry, hate, and anti-Semitism have absolutely no place in America-including at Mar-a-Lago.
"Holocaust denial is repugnant and dangerous, and it must be forcefully condemned," they added.
According to the New York Post, West's absurd behavior can be attributed to his mental health. The rapper struggles with Bipolar Disorder, a condition that causes extreme mood swings, the Mayo Clinic noted.
Furthermore, these mood swings affect the person's sleep, energy, activity, behavior, ability to think clearly, and judgment.
While there is no report on when West was diagnosed with the illness or if he is currently being treated, the manifestations are clearly being seen.
