Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have resolved their divorce. Child custody and property matters have been addressed between the former husband and wife. A struggling Kanye West is now faced with monetary obligations per month. Can he afford it?
According to TMZ, Kim and Kanye will share custody of their four children with "equal access." Although the documents state equal access, individuals with intimate information inform us that Kim will have the children the majority of the time. Even Kanye has admitted Kim already has custody of the children 80% of the time.
According to the agreement, Kanye will pay Kim child support of $200,000 every month. According to our sources, Kanye is not covering the entire cost of child support; he is only paying his portion. Moreover, he is accountable for fifty percent of their children's educational expenses, including tuition.
Additionally, he is accountable for fifty percent of their children's security costs.
Also, Kim and Kanye have agreed to participate in mediation in the event of a dispute involving their children. If one of them does not participate in a dispute, the other will make the decision.
As for the $200,000 monthly child support, it is due each month on the first and must be wired to Kim's account. As for property, assets are divided in accordance with their prenuptial agreement. According to the prenuptial agreement, both Kim and Kanye forfeited their rights to spousal support.
Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021, following a seven-year marriage.
Kim Kardashian moved to court in March to obtain a legal order dissolving the marriage, with custody and property issues to be settled at a later date. The divorce was held up because Kanye refused to engage. The deal was reached on Monday, the day before Kanye was supposed to be deposed in case the case went to trial the following month.
The chapter is finally closed on Kim and Kanye's marriage...if Kanye West can truly afford all these monthly support. According to Page Six, Kanye West may be mere months away from financial ruin. Sources claim that although the rapper has a huge amount of wealth, he also has enormous costs and might soon be in financial difficulty if he does not find a way to turn the situation around.
According to people familiar with his finances, West has five sources of income, but four of them have either been fully shut down or severely hampered as a result of his anti-Semitic outburst and support for white nationalists. In recent years, West reportedly made money through his enormous Adidas and Gap deals, his song catalog, the sale of new music, and shows. Adidas, the true source of his immense fortune, stated earlier this week that it will immediately cease payments after terminating its major Yeezy sneaker deal with him.
