After debuting as a solo artist in 2009, Kesha has become one of the most popular singers in the pop music industry with hit songs like "Tik Tok," "Cannibal," and many more.

After the release of her debut album "Animal" and a follow-up EP "Cannibal" in 2010, Kesha took a different route with her sophomore album as it sounds completely different from the songs that she used to drop, but she still managed to incorporate her authenticity into it.

According to Billboard, Kesha, whose real name is Kesha Rose Sebert, released "Warrior" on November 30, 2012. The album revolves around songs of different genres mixed with pop, and many critics praised her for the improvement of her lyrics.

The album's message was also commended by many fans as Kesha encourages her supporters to be vulnerable and embrace their inner warrior.

"Warrior" didn't become successful in the charts compared to her debut album, but the single "Die Young" became massive as it reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Based on Spotify streams, her most popular song from the record is also "Die Young" with a whopping 522,379,675 streams on the music platform.

The other two popular songs are "C'Mon" with over 82 million streams and "Crazy Kids" with 74 million, both of which also peaked at the Billboard Hot 100, placing at numbers 27 and 40, respectively.

Kesha 'Warrior' Meaning, Facts, and More!

In a previous interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the 35-year-old musician said the record was inspired by different stories from her fans that she personally talked to.

"I have a lot of gay and lesbian and transgender fans and I heard a lot of stories on Twitter and around the world about how they have to struggle with bullying and things like that," she said. (via Songfacts)

Since many members of the LGBTQIA+ community have been struggling to be accepted in society, Kesha made a big move by releasing an album that would let her give back the strength of a warrior to her fans.

In another explanation, Kesha noted that people should be a warrior instead of a victim as many people have been going through a lot of different challenges and the singer wanted them to not let the negative experience take over and beat them down.

"You stand up, face it and fight it," she added.
