Hailed as one of the greatest actresses in the early 2000s, Kate Hudson has starred in a lot of films - may it be romance, comedy, and even musical films - the woman got it all.
Now, after a stint in film and television, Hudson is on her way to music as she revealed that she is now pursuing plans to become a recording artist.

"You know, I had this thing [during] COVID ... Every time you're doing interviews, people are like, 'Do you have any regrets?' I go, 'I'm early 40s... not yet.' But during COVID, I was like, 'You know, what am I doing?'" she confessed.
During the onslaught of the coronavirus pandemic, Hudson has had a few projects here in there. Probably the biggest one was "Music," an American-musical drama film directed by singer-songwriter Sia.
In the interview, Hudson revealed that, like Sia, she was also a closeted songwriter on her own, but he never tried to show her work to the public.
"I just thought that would be one of my great regrets. I have no expectations. I just want to put a record out, and so I'm doing it. And I'm really proud of it. I can't wait," she furthered.
Asked when her next project would be anticipated, the "Bride Wars" actress revealed that it would be coming next year, 2023.
When she starred in the fourth season of "Glee," Hudson had a few musical numbers with now "Funny Girl" lead Lea Michele.
She performed a mashup of "Americano/Dance Again" on the season premiere of Season 4 and "Uptight (Everything Alright)" on the show's tribute episode of Stevie Wonder. She even danced and sang to the "Chicago" hit "All That Jazz" with Lea Michele.
Earlier this year, Hudson announced her plans to record, sharing to Instagram some sneak peek on what is to come for her upcoming project last April 2022. Her friends have showered their support for her, excited and thrilled about the new journey.
Kate Hudson will be starring among an ensemble of actors at "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery," along with Daniel Craig, Kathryn Hanh, Leslie Odam Jr., Madeline Cline, and Janelle Monae, among many others.
