Many agree that Britney Spears' recent behavior on social media is a cause for concern, and some even demanded her husband Sam Asghari tell her to tone down the nudity, but he had one thing to say about the entire matter.

Asghari broke his silence and defended Spears against critics who accused the singer of posting too many nude photos on Instagram.

Many complained about Spears' erratic behavior and demanded that Asghari do something about the situation, perhaps talk some sense into the "Toxic" singer to stop posting nude photos, but he was adamant that she is free to do so.

"The only person in the world that gets bullied for posting things like this," Asghari frustratedly wrote, referring to his wife.

Although he did also admit that the nude photos bothered him, he was not about to control what Spears put out on Instagram.

"I personally preferred she never posted these but who am I to control someone that's been under a microscope and been controlled for most of her life," he continued.

The actor also noted that Spears had never really posted a nude photo, instead she posts photos with "implied nudity."

"To clarify my wife has never posted a nude selfie except her butt which is quite modest these days. All other posts were implied nudity which can be seen in any ad for lotion or soap."

Problem?

According to Page Six, Spears' confidence and ease with her body have caused several problems for her in the past.

Most notably when the "Oops I Did It Again" singer's ex-husband Kevin Federline claimed that their sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, were ashamed to be seen with Spears due to the racy photos.

During that instance, Asghari also came to the singer's defense, "Even if there was truth to her kids being ashamed of their mothers [sic] choices and positive body image they wouldn't be the 1st teenagers embarrassed [by] their parents. The mere presence of a parent can humiliate a teenager," he wrote in an Instagram Story.

The actor added that Spears' photos are "harmless" and described it as "an expression of a newly found freedom."

Spears' several racy pictures came after her 13-year conservatorship was ended, and she was free to post on her own social media accounts without consent or approval.
