Hayley Williams is a part of most people in today's generation's lives during their childhood years as she became the frontwoman of Paramore at an early age. More recently, the singer discussed how she could relate to Billie Eilish as both of them almost had the same trajectory in their respective careers in the industry.
Speaking to Sirius XM's Alt Nation, the "Ain't It Fun" songstress, who signed her first record deal at the young age of 14, revealed that the first time she noticed the singer was in the 2018 song and music video for "When the Party's Over."
After that, the 33-year-old rocker became interested in Eilish so she continued watching interviews. At the time, she resonated with the star because she felt like there was something inside of her that was watching herself, as she described it, "teenagers doing interviews and navigating this world."
The reason why she relates so much with the then-rising singer was that she was only 17 years old when Paramore released "All We Know Is Falling" in 2005, while the 20-year-old star was only 14 when the track "Ocean Eyes" became viral.
Despite their almost-the-same career run, there was one part where she thinks Eilish became ahead of her, saying, "She does it on a level we've never experienced."
Hayley Williams Recalls Interacting With Billie Eilish and her Family
In 2021, the vocalist celebrated Thanksgiving with Billie Eilish and her family. At the time, the singer's mom prepared vegan cinnamon rolls.
During that moment, Williams said she already connected with the pop star as well as with her mom, adding that she would do anything for Eilish's family including her brother, Finneas.
Regarding the singer's run in the music industry, the rocker predicted her life, saying she's going to be "around for a really long time."
The recent interview comes after Williams and Eilish surprised fans at Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival earlier this year as they performed songs like "Happier Than Ever" and "Misery Business."
In other updates, Paramore is set to perform at Taylor Swift's highly-anticipated "The Eras" tour this March 17 and 18 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
They will also embark on their tour to support their new album "This Is Why." Check out more details about their 2023 scheduled shows here.
