2022 has been a big year for many of the classic and rising musicians but the new year is fast approaching and a new breed of performers is expected to dominate the industry in 2023.
Although some of the singers included in this list have started years ago, they found fame in recent months, leading some outlets to predict their success next year.

Coco Jones
SiriusXM named Coco Jones as the "future of R&B" in their "Future Five" for 2023 list. The musician has been working in the industry for a while now and many have commended her smooth and impressive vocals.
Aside from being a singer, the rising artist, whose real name is Courtney Michaela Anne Jones, is also an actress who previously appeared in movies such as "Vampires vs. The Bronx," "White Elephant," "Flock of Four," "Grandma's House," and many more.

Omar Apollo
Omar Apollo has had an amazing year this 2022 and many are anticipating his success to skyrocket more in the coming year.
Over the past few months, the singer got many achievements such as being named SZA's supporting act on her highly-anticipated "S.O.S." tour which will begin on February 21 at Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio. (via That Grape Juice)
In addition, the singer was also nominated for a Best New Artist award at the 65th Grammy Awards next year.

Megan Moroney
After releasing "Hair Salon," Megan Moroney amassed many listeners, especially on the radio. The country musician has just begun her journey with Sony Music Nashville.
The singer would be performing in several cities in the coming months, including a concert at the Bama Slam Saloon in New Brockton, Alabama, on December 31.

Bailey Zimmerman
Another country star to watch out for is Bailey Zimmerman. The 22-year-old singer hails from Illinois and amassed fans in 2022 after his song "Fall In Love" became the number-one song on country radio.
His track also broke a record for being the fastest debut single to reach the top spot since 2015.
