Ariana Grande sent Christmas presents to several Manchester hospitals last Dec. 26, but kept the entire thing under wraps-that was until one of the recipient hospitals publicly thanked her for the donations.

"Thank you Ariana!" wrote the official Twitter account of the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity. "We were so excited to receive Christmas gifts for young patients across our hospitals from Ariana Grande."

According to Page Six, Grande donated gifts to the children and teenagers confined at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, Wythenshawe Hospital, North Manchester General Hospital, and Trafford General Hospital.

The Interim director for Manchester Foundation Trust Charity, Tanya Hamid, commended the "Positions" singer, "It's so wonderful that Ariana has once again been so thoughtful and made this special donation to our family of hospitals."

"We know Manchester, and in particular Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, holds a special place in Ariana's heart," she continued.

The news of Grande's recent charity donation comes five years after the devastation left behind by a bomber who entered the singer's concert in the city, and unleashed a deadly bomb in the Machester Arena on May 22, 2017.

Five Years Ago

The Manchester bombing killed 23 individuals and injured over a thousand more, most of the victims were children and teenagers who attended the concert.

Survivors of the concert were left with much psychological damage after the attack, and Grande was no different.

The singer was deeply scarred by the attack and even went on a hiatus, she did not release music for a year after the bombing.

After the devastating attack in 2017, Grande paid a surprise visit to some of the fans who were injured during the attack and even organized "One Love Manchester", a benefit concert for the victims.

The Grammy-Award-winning singer constantly talks about her grief and honors the victims several times over the years.

On the fourth year anniversary, she took to Instagram to pay tribute to the victims: "Manchester, my heart is with you today and always."

According to Los Angeles Times, Grande has been consistent with her donations throughout the years.

In 2020, she donated vouchers and toys to the children at the Manchester hospitals, and again in 2021, when she donated almost a thousand gifts for children of all ages at the hospitals.
