Flo Rida has not released any new studio albums since 2012, and fans have begun to wonder if he's retired.
The hitmaker isn't retired, but instead has been working on new music for quite some time now, and the upcoming Grammys afterparty celebration might finally be the time he'll unleash what's been kept in his vault for so long.
As per the Grammys website, this year's Grammys afterparty will be celebrating jazz music and will be headlined by the rapper, as well as Arturo O'Farrill & The Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra and Michelle Pesce as DJ.
"We're excited to return to Los Angeles with a larger-than-life experience that truly captivates the last year in music," said Branden Chapman, the COO and Head of Entertainment for the Recording Academy.
"As the official after-party of the GRAMMYs, we look forward to bringing the industry and our annual nominees a GRAMMY Week closing celebration with electrifying performances, culinary delights and more."
The 2023 Grammy Celebration-the official name of the Record Academy's afterparty-will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and everything in the event will be telecasted for fans to see.

Comeback
Although this isn't necessarily a comeback for Flo Rida, this will be his first appearance in quite some time.
According to reports, the rapper performed at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest with Italian singer Senhit, representing San Marino, and he was supposed to drop a new album.
The new album, which was supposed to be his fifth, was supposed to drop in January 2022, a decade after he released "Wild Ones," in 2012, but nothing emerged.
Perhaps he is busy with other endeavors, like his distillery with Victor George Spirits, Old Sistrunk Distillery, back in 2020.
Shortly after announcing the venture, the Covid pandemic strictly, halted their opening, and since then, there has been no word when it will open.
Flo Rida has not issued any statements regarding his upcoming appearance at the Grammys afterparty.
The rapper is definitely no stranger to award shows, and especially not the Grammys. He has been nominated for a Grammy several times in the past.
In 2009, he was nominated alongside T-Pain for this hit song "Low" under the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration category, then the following year he was nominated for Best Rap Album for "R.O.O.T.S.," and Album of the Year for his work in "The Fame" by Lady Gaga.
His song with Sia, "Wild Ones" was nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the 2013 Grammy Awards.
