Calling all festival lovers! Download Festival has added 40 new music acts that will perform in the span of four days; check out below if your favorite artists are included in the official lineup.
According to NME, organizers of the highly-anticipated event just updated their official lineup, adding over 40 new names to the list which includes Alter Bridge, Neck Deep, Jinjer, Five Finger Death Punch, Coheed and Cambria, Electric Callboy and Hot Milk, The Amity Affliction, and many more.
Download Festival have already announced its official headliners last year. Main acts include Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon, and Metallica, which will perform in two different nights. Secondliners include Evanescence, The Distillers, Ghost, Architects, and Placebo.
This year will be the event's biggest gathering so far as they finally extended the show for four days, which will take place at Donnington Park from June 8 to 11, 2023.
One of the reasons why they added another day to the event was because it's their 20th anniversary. "Next year is essentially our 20th year so we wanted to do something a little bit special. All I can say is that it will be very, very exciting." Booker Andy Copping told the outlet last year.
In November, Copping opened up about the festival trying to be gender diverse with femal musicians, saying they have been trying to do it for years and even though they still got a long way to go, it feels encouraging that there are many women artists in the industry.
