It looks like the XXXTentacion Murder trial is hitting a standstill as after the seventh day of the jury's deliberation, they have yet to arrive at a verdict.
XXXTentacion, formally known as Jahseh Onfroy, was one of the most popular rappers before he passed away in 2018. His murder trial is one of the most high profile cases out there in the entertainment industry.
XXXTentacion Murder Trial Update
According to AllHipHop, after seven days of deliberations, the XXXTentacion Murder Trial has not yet reached a verdict.
The jury was given a day off by the presiding judge, Judge Michael Usan. The Florida jury was sent home last Mar. 16, 2023, after deliberating for the past few days.
Based on the day off given by the judge, the jury deliberation shall start again on Monday, Mar. 20, 2023, when they are expected to finally arrive or become close to having a verdict on whether the three accused suspects were indeed guilty of their crimes.
In the past week, the jury got a hold of the cellphone records of the suspects. The jury reviewed more than 1,200 text messages, photos, and videos from the suspects' phones.
Among the information found on the XXXTentacion murder suspects were a photo of former First Lady Melania Trump, dating app screenshots, screenshots of a news article announcing Onfroy's death, and even photos of their online shopping carts.
Photos of them holding fistfuls of $100 were also seen.
Messages retrieved from the cellphones were being read on the screen as it was too small to read from the gallery.

XXXTentacion Murder Suspects
The XXXTentacion murder suspects were Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams, and Trayvon Newsome. Their other accomplice, Robert Allen, surrendered to the authorities earlier, helping them with the prosecution of his former friends.
All three of them were charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery. Should they all be convicted, they will be facing mandatory life sentences. On the other hand, the death penalty was ruled out for the suspects.
The defense team of Williams even worked on an angle of including megastar Drake in the trial. The suspect's team wanted to depose Drake, highlighting that before Onfroy's death, he and Drake were at odds with each other, with Onfroy even declaring that if anybody had killed him, it was Drake.
However, the move has since been futile and all the more damaging to Williams, who has lost money pushing for that part of the defense.
