A new exclusive video that captured the events before and after the shooting incident at Yo Gotti's restaurant has been publicized.

Yo Gotti bought the restaurant in Memphis, Tennessee, called Prive, for his mother Geraldine years ago. The matriarch serves as the manager and chef of the food hub.

Just after its closing time on Wednesday, a shooting occurred that left some people dead and others injured.

Video of Shooting Incident at Yo Gotti's Restaurant Released to the Public

A news outlet obtained exclusive surveillance footage from Yo Gotti's Prive restaurant. The clip shows what happened before and after shots were fired. It confirmed that a brawl led to the incident, which involved a man in a blue hoodie and another man in a red jacket.

The two unnamed individuals threw drinks before a fight started in the crowded hallway of the restaurant.

A security guard reportedly tried to stop the event, but the feud continued outside the restaurant. Previous reports said the police are still trying to identify the man who fired the shots.

Yo Gotti was not present in the area when the deadly shooting happened. He has not released a statement to address the incident.

WREG said the police found two male victims upon their arrival at the scene. One was immediately pronounced dead on the spot, while the other was rushed to a local hospital but died a few hours later.

Five more victims sustained injuries, including four males (ages 37, 35, 31, and 30) and a 25-year-old female.

Yo Gotti's Family Devastated

The restaurant owner's lawyer, Arthur Horne, told the station (via Billboard) that they were shocked and devastated by the shooting. He also clarified that the altercation took place outside Prive, contradicting the police statement.

"On behalf of Prive, they've been in business for ten years, and nothing like this has ever happened at their establishment," Horne said. "It happened out in the parking lot, and it ended up in a shootout. Nothing happened inside the restaurant. Despite any conflicting reports, they were closing, and this happened at the end of the evening in the parking lot."

Local Fox affiliate, WHBQ reported, revealed that at least 40 bullets were fired.

Before the recent incident, Prive closed its doors briefly in November 2021 after Young Dolph was shot dead in Memphis - although it was 10 miles from the restaurant.

Horne noted that Prive has been running for a decade, but it was the first time something had happened at the area.
