Peter Frampton will officially come out of his touring retirement with the announcement of his upcoming US tour, "Never Say Never."
Frampton first announced his retirement from touring with his "Peter Frampton Finale - The Farewell Tour" in February 2019 following his inclusion-body myositis diagnosis. He still had a series of shows in 2022, and the musician will continue performing again through his new US tour.

On Frampton's official Facebook page, the 72-year-old "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" singer confirmed the beginning of his 2023 tour. He also announced that most of the shows would start their presales on April 14.
Frampton recalled saying "Never Say Never" at the end of his every finale Tour years ago. Although he said he retired from touring, he reportedly had full of hope for the impossible.
"I'm very pleased to let you know that I am feeling strong and my fingers are still roaming the fretboard. Every note I play now has more meaning and soul," the musician said. "I love playing live and this fighter wants to stay in the ring for as long as he can. I'm so happy to be able to see you all one more time this summer. Much love, Peter."

His announcement came after he joined this year's CMT Music Awards to honor his late friend, Gary Rossington, who died in March at the age of 71. The Lynyrd Skynyrd member's cause of death remains undisclosed, but he suffered a heart attack in 2015 and underwent emergency heart surgery in 2021.
