Arcade Fire's three-night stay in Brooklyn ended with an odd twist on Sunday when David Byrne joined them in full vampire makeup.
Byrne — the former frontman of the Talking Heads and bona fide NYC legend — appeared onstage for a version of Suicide's 1979 song "Dream Baby Dream."
He was the final installment of a weekend guest cast that included David Johansen of the New York Dolls (Friday night playing "Hot Hot Hot") and Marky Ramone of The Ramones (Saturday night playing "I Don't Wanna Go Down To The Basement" and "I Wanna Be Sedated").

Consequence of Sound points out that Byrne was featured on AF's 2010 album The Suburbs, and has performed live with the band before.
He also wasn't the only notable moment of Sunday's show; the band's signature bobblehead characters sang and danced to LCD Soundsystem's "All My Friends" during intermission, and director Spike Jonze wore the Win Butler bobblehead with crowdsurfing during "Normal Person."
Arcade Fire has been covering hometown music at every stop of their Reflektor Tour, but they added another dimension with the appearance of New York legends this weekend.
Previous covers have included Neil Young, Jane's Addiction and Nirvana.
Only four nights and three cities remain on the current tour in support of 2013's Reflektor, which gave the Canadian band its second No. 1 album.
