Taylor Swift fans, dubbed as Swifties, will do anything in their ability just to see the musician perform live. Recently, a couple from New Orleans did a shocking thing just to get tickets to the pop star's concert.
According to Penn Live, passes for the "Eras" tour has been hard to obtain as most of the singer's scheduled concerts had been sold out already, that's why a business owner offered something in return of tickets, and little did he know that someone will agree to their deal.
Zander White, the owner of Zee's Pizzeria in New Orleans, previously shared a poster at his restaurant that reads, "Free pizza for Swift tix" back in November. He noted that the offer is valid until 2024.
Taylor Swift 'Eras' Tour: Couple Gets FREE Tickets
At first, the post didn't get that much attention from fans online, in fact, the photo posted on their Facebook page only had 17 reactions.
The owner was shocked as a customer named Jeanine in Houston offered them a pair of tickets to see the pop star perform most of the songs from her entire career in three hours.
White and his wife, who wore a "Bejeweled" jacket, were able to attend the pop star's show at NRG Stadium over the weekend.
"We are huge Taylor fans and we never thought it would actually happen. And when it did we went and we didn't know what to expect... It was wild." he said. (via WDSU News)
Since the owner and Jeanine had a deal, the fan who gave them free tickets will now get a special gift card for her to redeem a year's worth of pizza.
Taylor Swift 'Eras' Tour 2023
In other updates, the musician performed on the second night of her show in Houston, Texas, when fans noticed that the pop star had an injury on the palm of her hand.
Despite having a deep cut, Swift carried on and still performed in front of thousands of fans.
Initially, it was unclear how the singer got injured, but fans theorize that it happened between "Folklore" and "Reputation" sets as she didn't have any cuts before that.
The musician then took to her official Twitter account to assure fans that she was okay, explaining that she tripped on her dress hem and fell in the dark backstage while "running to a quick change."
"Don't worry about me I'm gooooood," she added.
Taylor Swift's "Eras" tour's next stop would be a three-night show at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, from April 28 to 30, 2023. Complete tour dates and information about her series of concerts are available on her official website.
