Young Thug's RICO YSL trial has continued to shock many people again with the events that unfold every day at the court proceedings.
Most recently, a juror shouted some expletives to the judge after one lawyer mulled over starting up a porn account to make ends meet.
Young Thug Trial: Juror Shouted At Judge
In a tweet from Hip-hop historian Dennis Byron, drama erupted in the courtroom last May 1, 2023, at the RICO YSL Trial of Young Thug.
Apparently, one potential juror threw the B-Bomb on Judge Ural Glanville, the presiding judge for the monumental Hip-hop trial. Calling Glanville a "bitch," landed the potential juror for contempt of court.
Byron, in a series of tweets, recalled the high-tension encounter, even asking if the word was protected speech under the first amendment.
The jury selection for the Young Thug RICO YSL Trial has been strenuous, to say the least. Jurors have been violating court decorum left and right. Apart from this, the difficulty in selection hit a high after it was revealed that it could take six to nine months to finish the entire trial.
Meanwhile, a potential juror throwing Glanville "bitch" wasn't the only thing interesting that happened in the past few days.
Young Thug Trial: Lawyer Wants To Start Up OnlyFans?
Since May 2022, when Young Thug and 27 other YSL Associates were served with a grand jury indictment, lawyers have been working tirelessly to prevent the guys from jail.
In an interview with Angela D'Williams with WSBTV, she confessed that the Georgia Public Defender Council (GPDC) hasn't been doing poor Georgians a service because of how underfunded the counsels were.
Per D'Williams, she isn't being "compensated fairly" to represent one of Thugger's associates. With the case being scheduled to last for a year, she did the math and only projected to work six dollars an hour. The job would be limited since she could not take on any new cases or close any.
"I need something to survive off of," she appealed. "We were under the impression that GPDC was advocating for us, and once they put those walls up, I'm thinking I need to start an OnlyFans."
D'Williams revealed that she asked for additional funds back in March 2023 but was only dismissed by the director of the GPDC and was told that she "doesn't need to meet" with her again.
GPDC, in a statement to WSBTV, let out a rather dismissive response:
"If they really cared about those that are indigent, they would use taxpayer's money wisely," KR Chowbey said in a statement.
