For those who have not seen Lea Michele in "Funny Girl" yet, they should probably start running to cop tickets, because her run in the Broadway musical is about to come to an end.

According to reports, the former "Glee" star revealed that her next role is already mapped out, and it will have a completely different energy from "Funny Girl."

"I already know what it is," Michele mysteriously shared. "You know it. It's very different musically."

Aside from those few words about her next upcoming project, the actress slash Broadway star has kept information close to her chest and very tight-lipped about the entire thing.

It seems like fans would just have to wait and see what is coming next from Michele.

'Funny Girl'

When Michele took the role of Fanny Brice, a role previously held by the world-renowned singer Barbra Streisand, everyone was a little bit skeptical.

However, the actress managed to change everyone's minds as she embodied the character. "I was originally only supposed to stay until June," she revealed.

"Signing on to this and taking on this role with a toddler. I haven't been on Broadway in 15 years. I really didn't know how this was going to all sort of feel and be for us as a family and being back in New York.

"But I'm having such an amazing time and we have the most amazing cast and it is just such a beautiful experience. So myself, Tova Feldshuh, Ramin, and Jared, we've all decided that we are going to see this to the end September 3rd."

Not only did she impress the audience and fans, but she also reportedly impressed Streisand!

Career-Changing Role

Michele is most known for playing Rachel Berry in the musical television series "Glee" alongside Cory Monteith, Naya Rivera, Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, and more.

She also worked on "Scream Queens" alongside Emma Roberts, Abigail Breson, Skyler Samuels, Billie Lourd, and Ariana Grande.

However, it is her return to Broadway that sparked what seems to be a renaissance in her career.

While Michele is yet to disclose what Broadway musical she is set to star in next, it seems like it will be just as popular as "Funny Girl," especially since she hinted that people already "know" what it is.
