After a quite trying year, Luke Bryan needs a breather.
The renowned country music singer is reportedly determined to press on and treat his wife of 16 years, Caroline Boyer, to a romantic vacation.
Confessing to Entertainment Tonight, Luke, 46, admitted, "I'm not really balancing it that well this year."
"I'm like, 'Baby, this is a rough year, let's just get through it and then we'll find a boat and go to the Caribbean or something."
Truly, 2020 has been an eventful year for the singer-songwriter. Not only did he have the honor of being one of the judges on "American Idol" Season 21, crowning Iam Tongi as its deserving champion, but he also launched his "Country On" Tour in June. He will soon begin a Vegas residency at Resorts World Theatre, starting next month.
Luke revealed his plans for the next year - he will remain professionally active but take some time to slow down.
Taking some time to slow down, the singer said he is making sure to spend quality time with his two sons, whom he shares with Caroline, Thomas "Bo" Boyer Bryan and Tatum "Tate" Christopher Bryan, aged 15 and 12, respectively.
However, to do so, he has planned fishing trips as well as attending baseball games alongside his boys.
Luke reportedly still has some music business before he and his wife embark on a tropical excursion. He recently divulged his recording process.
"We hear songs, writing songs. When we have something that pleases us, we head into the studio. I'm quite proud of some new tunes I've come up with, and I'm sure my faithful fans won't have heard them before."
"Additionally, I'm working on a few other little surprises!"
"Making music has been a success for him, and now fans can peek at his new summer party single, 'But I Got a Beer in My Hand.'"
The singer expressed his enthusiasm for the project, saying, "I just try to go in the studio and make the best music I can. It's great that it's worked out for me up until now - I'm really excited to show off my new songs!"
