Sinead O'Connor Funeral Update: Locals of County Wicklow in Dublin, Ireland are being invited to show their respects to Sinead O'Connor one last time.
This follows her untimely passing in July, just months after her son's death.
To offer a final tribute, people will be lining up along where she used to reside by her beloved sea.
As the family of Sinead announced details, according to the Irish Examiner, about her funeral today, they revealed a processional route that will travel along the Strand Road in her home country.
The cortege will be passing by Montebello, the home where Sinead resided for 15 years and where people have been leaving flowers in tribute since her death.
On July 26, a tragedy occurred when police discovered the Grammy-winning artist, age 56, unresponsive in her home located in southeast London.
This unfortunate event was met with an outpouring of condolences from artists and fans alike.
In the days since Sinead O'Connor's death, Dublin, Belfast, and London have hosted a variety of commemorative events in tribute to her status as both a musician and an activist.
On Sunday, on behalf of her family, a statement was issued that asked people to come to Bray's seafront at 10:30 AM for one "last goodbye" to the beloved singer.
Sinead's family said in a statement, "Sinead loved living in Bray and the people in it."
"With this procession, her family would like to acknowledge the outpouring of love for her from the people of Co Wicklow and beyond, since she left last week to go to another place."
It went on to say, "The Gardai have asked that people gather, if they would like to say a last goodbye to the singer, from 10.30 am on Tuesday along the Bray seafront."

In 1990, Sinead O'Connor rocketed to fame with her rendition of the song "Nothing Compares 2 U."
But she was also distinguished for strongly advocating against social and political matters such as the child abuse scandal in the Catholic Church.
At the time of her death, 67 Management reported that Sinead O'Connor had been making preparations for a new album, as well as scrutinizing tour dates and possible cinematic opportunities based on her book.
Additionally, the music management company stated that planning for next year was also underway.
