Sinead O'Connor Ireland Hillside Tribute
A giant installation tribute for Sinead O'Connor has been erected and recently unveiled in Ireland, following her death last Jul. 26, 2023.
The installation was erected and conceptualized by the Dublin-based creative agency The Tenth Man. It featured 30-foot-hand-cut letters saying "éIRE <3 SINéAD," which translates to "Ireland loves Sinéad." It was made by sign-writing and mural specialists Mack Signs, People Magazine reports.
The said display was erected on Bray Head hillside in County Wicklow, Ireland. Significantly, the location was near the singer's former home on Strand Road, Bray
"So much has been said about Sinéad since her recent passing, I'm not sure what is left to say," The Tenth Man Executive Creative Director Richard Seabrooke said in a statement. "We just wanted to take the opportunity to mark the moment with a bold statement that symbolizes what she meant to this little country of ours."
The video of the actual Sinead O'Connor hillside tribute installation can be seen on the agency's Instagram account.
"SINéAD O'CONNOR 1966 - 2023 REST IN POWER," they said in the caption.
According to the publication, the Sinead O'Connor hillside tribute installation was built above the World War II "éIRE" landmark that was rediscovered in 2018.
