Guns N' Roses' highly-anticipated song "Perhaps" was accidentally leaked after rumors that it would arrive on August 11 emerged.

The band's production manager Tom Mayhue confirmed that Guns N' Roses would drop a new single "any day now" after the members dropped signs that they have been working on new material.

"I know that the band's gonna start working on new music," he said. "They've got a bunch of stuff recorded already. So there will be new Guns N' Roses music very soon.

But long before the single arrived, the band's "Perhaps" was accidentally leaked over the weekend.

Guns N' Roses "Perhaps" Leaked

On Twitter (now X), several users shared a screenshot of Guns N' Roses' leaked track via a jukebox at a bar. The photo shows the "Perhaps" logo and the number "3:48" seemingly indicating the track's length. Geffen Records' name also appeared at the bottom of the screenshot.

"GOOD MORNING TO GUNS N' ROSES FANS ONLY," one of the users wrote. "In case you missed it, Perhaps leaked last night via a jukebox at a bar. Pick a local bar with TouchTunes and you, too, can go listen. A release on streaming platforms surely is imminent but we will never forget the night of August 12th.

"Perhaps" was leaked through digital jukeboxes in bars, following the release of low-quality recordings over the past years before the band played it at a recent June 2023 concert in Tel Aviv.

Guns N' Roses and their representative have yet to respond to the leak; they have not released the official poster yet, as well.

When Will Perhaps Be Officially Released?

This came after rumors that it would arrive last week emerged. Music news outlets, including Guitar said a link on the Universal Music website already appeared to redirect fans to Spotify, Apple Music, and other music streaming platforms to allow them to pre-save the single.

The new material would be the band's first release since dropping "Hard Skool" in 2022.

Meanwhile, bassist Duff McKagan said in 2019 that Guns N' Roses were working on their first album since "The Spaghetti Incident?" in 1993.

He said, "Oh, it's real, but the fun part and the cool part about Guns N' Roses is we don't really talk about it, and what happens next just happens."
