Suzanne Somers shared her dying wish as she started facing cancer again.

Somers and her husband, Alan Hamel, confirmed that the singer-actress had a recurrence of breast cancer after previously surviving the dreaded illness. She previously battled two hyperplasia, skin cancer, and breast cancer prior to her recent diagnosis.

Suzanne Somers Wants The Best For Her Husband

Throughout her decades of cancer battle, Somers' husband has been her rock as she battled different illnesses. Now that she has a recurrence of breast cancer, the singer-actress has one wish - but it is for Hamel.

A source told National Enquirer (via OK! Magazine) that the "Let's Work It Out" hitmaker set her husband as her first concern as he has been with her through ups and downs in the past five decades.

"These two have been together over five decades," the unnamed source said. "Without her, Alan probably won't make it. The thought is breaking Suzanne's heart."

Somers' husband told Page Six on June 6 that she got cleared from breast cancer again, but they still need to pay extra attention as the disease is "tricky." Per Hamel, he would have lost Somers already if she did not start her chemical-free and organic way of living.

Over the past years, Somers opted to remove foods and beauty products with chemicals and started to get more sleep. She also began her all-organic diet.

Suzanne Somers Recently Dealt With Health Scare

As the 76-year-old "Step by Step," singer and her husband continue their health journey, they recently faced a health scare when they became alarmed by her blood pressure.

She revealed to Page Six that she called 911 earlier this month after getting distressed when they saw her readings that were beyond the normal ranges despite having ideal numbers in the days before contacting the emergency health services.

"Alan got a reading on me he didn't like, but he took it again 8 or 10 more times to be sure," Somers said. "For the first time ever, we called 911."

An ambulance and firetruck responded to their Palm Springs home, with the personnel identifying that a simple machine error caused the worrying readings. They also ensured Somers was fine before leaving the home.

Aside from her cancer battle, she is also recovering from the 2020 injury she sustained after a fall at their home.
