Britney Spears' mother wants the pop star to leave Los Angeles and live with her instead following Sam Asghari's divorce filing.
Spears and Asghari will start their divorce showdown in court soon after the estranged husband formally requested a dissolution of their marriage. While talks that the singer is "all alone" emerged, her mother came to rescue her as she wants her to live with her instead.
Britney Spears' Mother Furious at Sam Asghari for Abandoning Singer
A source told Daily Mail that Lynne Spears is raging after Asghari filed for divorce from Spears after over a year of marriage.
The unnamed source, who is reportedly a family friend, revealed that the matriarch is mad at the model for abandoning her daughter. The insider noted that he took a vow to be with her through sickness and health and that he married her even when he knew she was not well.
As a result, Lynne wants her daughter to leave Los Angeles already.
"LA is toxic and the only thing keeping her there was [Sam]," the source continued. "Lynne believes she can heal and regroup in Louisiana, then return to LA when she is ready."
A separate source told Page Six that Spears and her mother have not fully reconciled yet "because something still hurts a lot."
Spears has also spoken up about the divorce for the first time, telling her followers she could not take the pain anymore.
Asghari noted in his divorce filing that they separated three weeks before submitting the documents, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the cause of their split. He is also seeking financial support from the singer.
Britney Spears' Family Tries To Help Singer
While Spears got no hand to hold now, her family is said to be trying to determine how they could help and save her.
After ending the conservatorship, they reportedly felt like it was the only option they could try again.
"They feel the only option would be another conservatorship, even though that's the last thing they'd want," the source added. "But they cannot go down that road because she just got the paperwork to be released from the last one - and they've now even created a new law around it."
