Last month, Ted Nugent wrapped up his final musical tour ever titled "Adios Mofo" which he considered to be the farewell series of concerts for his fans before he officially retires from the music business.
However, some fans are confused as he still has a few upcoming shows over the next few months despite him announcing that his recent tour would be his last.
According to KSHE 95, the musician spoke in an episode of his "The Nightly Nuge" series where he expressed his gratitude to those who were able to witness him perform live in the past six decades.
Even though he already wrapped up his farewell tour, he told his viewers, "By the way, I'm gonna continue."
Ted Nugent Upcoming Shows 2023
The rocker later announced that he would take the stage with STYX at a casino in Michigan, which already happened on September 1 at the Firekeeper's Casino in Battlecreek.
Another show would be with Night Ranger in Jackson, Michigan, but the official date has yet to be announced.
Lastly, his final scheduled show so far would be with Sammy Hagar in October. As of this writing, Ted Nugent has yet to share more details about the upcoming shows.
However, he told his supporters that he is still "enthused and inspired and motivated and stimulated beyond measure," which only proves that he is very passionate about his music.
Ted Nugent Says He Would Always Play But Not Go On Tour Anymore
In an interview with Guitar.com in August 2023, the musician noted that he will always play his guitar on a daily basis because he is a "fighter" and he's still "really energized."
But despite playing on a daily basis, he clarified that he would not perform on an organized tour anymore, but he clarified that he is still up for a few gigs around.
"I'm never going to go on another 'tour' tour. This really is the last tour," he told the outlet.
Another reason why he doesn't want to go on tour anymore is because his life revolves around his family right now as well as his dogs.
"I have an unhealthy attachment to my dogs. I love my f*****' dogs. So I will never leave home to do a tour now," he explained.
