Gary Wright, popularly known for being the frontman of the famous United Kingdom-based band Spooky Tooth, has passed away at the age of 80; what was his cause of death?
The classic musician's death was confirmed by his son, Justin Wright, to a news outlet. He succumbed to his death on Monday morning at hsi home in Palos Verdes Estates, California.
Regarding his cause of death, it was noted that Wright suffered from two illnesses before his passing. He reportedly had Parkinson's disease and dementia for the past five or six years.
The Parkinson's disease was so hard for the musician at it has become worst through the years to the point that he lost his ability to move and speak.
Days leading to his death, nurses who had been working for Wright at his home told his family that he was entering his final chapter.

Shortly after his death, good friend Stephen Bishop, who is also a singer/songwriter, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express his sadness as well as to remember the late musician.
"It is with great sadness that I received the news of my dear friend Gary Wright's passing... Gary's vibrant personality and exceptional talent made every moment together truly enjoyable. His legacy will live on for many years to come," he wrote in the caption of the photo with Wright.
He added that he would always cherish the late musician's kindness and warmth that he and his wife, Rose, had given him and would forever hold on to the stories that they cherished together.
Who Is Gary Wright?
According to Best Classic Bands, Gary Wright was responsible why the synthesizer became famous in the 70s.
Born in Cresskill, N.J., the musician's had been worked in the entertainment industry since he was a kid as he started in Broadway.
Initially, he began seeking for career opportunities in the United States but later decided to move to the United Kingdom to find his luck.
Fortunately for him, he was able to be a part of a band that later changed their name to Spooky Tooth. They struck a deal with Island Records and later dropped their first-album ever titled "It's All About" in the late 60s.
