Fans in Indiana were looking forward to watching Pearl Jam perform live, but the band recently announced that their show in the city would not push through anymore, but would be rescheduled at a later date; What happened?
In a statement posted on their official Instagram account, the band revealed that their show at the Ruoff Music Center in Indiana has been postponed "due to illness."
As of this writing, it's still unclear which band member had an illness and it was not stated what type of sickness hit the person involved.
The group later apologized to those who traveled to Indiana just to see them, but they had no choice because "it's obviously serious."

The band further apologized to their supporters for what happened and they also thanked them for understanding because "it's not easy."
For those who already have tickets for the concert in Indiana, the band assured that passes will still be honored for a future date which will be announced soon.

However, to those who couldn't make it, they are eligible for a refund.
As of this writing, their next concerts in Fort Worth on September 13 and 15, as well as Austin in September 18 and 19, will still continue as planned.

It was previously reported by Variety that ticket pricing for the group's tour is "all-in," which means that added fees are already attached to the price presented upon purchase because most of the time, other charges only appear during check out.
"Pearl Jam has always advocated on behalf of their fans and we hope more artists, teams and venues follow their lead and start using the all-in pricing display available on Ticketmaster," the ticket-selling platform said in a statement.
They added that this type of transaction would be better for supporters, especially if it would be mandated nationally.
