Ed Sheeran Las Vegas Concert Canceled

Ed Sheeran had to cancel his Las Vegas concert at the last minute.

Taking to Instagram at 5:30 PM on Saturday, Ed Sheeran had explained the cancellation to his fans.

"I can't believe I'm typing this but there's been some challenges encountered during the load in of our vegas show. It's impossible to go forward with the show. I'm so sorry. I know everyone has travelled in for this and I wish I could change it," he detailed.

Good thing is, he already laid out which day the Las Vegas concert would be rescheduled.

"The gig will be postponed to Saturday October 28th and all purchased tickets will be valid for that date. I'm so, so sorry x," he added.

Meanwhile, some fans are disappointed with the cancellation.

"It's annoying coz nobody here at Allegiant making announcements and have to check his IG. Damn," one shared on Instagram.

"LOLLLLL we were just about to walk from our hotel to the stadium We drove from Phoenix and we definitely can't make it to the rescheduled date. Can we just get a refund or...?" another asked.

"Oh Ed, this is horrible. We have literally been sitting outside in this heat since 10 o'clock this morning. With us there were 35 people. Some who had flown in from all over, including Germany. We were being told that we needed to wait a half hour more and then another half hour...there were people in the lines throwing up and passing out," another user explained.

However, some fans are more understanding than others.

"At least it's rescheduled. Most artists would just cancel, sack it off and refund," a fan responded.

"You know he'd do it if he could cause he straight up delayed denver set close to 2hr through a lightning thunder storm and waited to perform for us," someone wrote.

Ed Sheeran New Album 'Autumn Variations'

In other news, Ed Sheeran is releasing his first non-mathematics album - "Autumn Variations" - which will be released on Sep. 29, 2023.

Supposedly, his tour ends on Sep. 23, 2023, at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, but because of the postponement, he is extending it to Oct. 28, 2023, to accommodate the postponed Las Vegas show.
