Guns N' Roses fans from St. Louis, MO, were looking forward to seeing the band perform last week, but they were disappointed as the show was canceled at the last minute due to "illness."

More recently, there have been rumors circulating online regarding the true reason why the show was postponed, and many theorized that it was due to low ticket sales.

In a post on Reddit, a user revealed that an insider told them that the reason why the show was canceled was due to Axl Rose being "pissed" after the concert only sold 25,000 tickets, which is significantly less than their target of 40,000. (via Loudwire)

The post has since been taken down.

Other users expressed their disappointment on the platform as most of them claimed that there had been rumors about the postponement way before the show was officially canceled.

"We knew for 4 hours the concert was cancelled and nobody has made an official announcement from Guns N' Roses... People were getting on planes, trains and automobiles in that time to head to the show for the weekend," one wrote.

Slash's Girlfriend Speaks Out And Seemingly Shuts Down Fan Theories

After the theories made rounds online, Slash's girlfriend, Meegan Hodges, took to her official Instagram account and seemingly shut down the rumors circulating around the internet.

In a post, she insisted that the show, scheduled on September 9, was postponed "due to illness."

"The truth is someone is sick and unable to perform. There's no conspiracy... The show will be rescheduled in November," she added.

As of this writing, none of the band members have confirmed whether the fan theories were true or not.
