Taylor Swift might be the biggest artist in the planet in the present, but there were also musicians who paved the way for her to do what she's doing today.
More recently, legendary singer Mick Jagger expressed his admiration for the mega pop star as she continues to take charge and re-record her own music as well as perform at stadiums around the world.
The Rolling Stones member spoke with the Wall Street Journal in an interview where he opened up about how his band became the trailblazer in performing at massive venues that were originally designed for sporting events.
"One of the things I'm really proud of, with the Stones, is that we pioneered arena tours, with their own stage, with their own sound and everything, and we also did the same with stadiums," he said.
Jagger added that during their prime years, there were no people who traveled and perform at stadium concerts.
