Amazon is offering a limited-edition 3-month free trial on its Amazon Music and Audible services, days before Prime Day officially comes.
The move came after the streaming platform raised its prices for this year, giving its loyal subscribers a limited-edition exclusive deal to compensate.

According to a press release by Variety, Amazon Music is giving its loyal subscribers a 3-month free trial on its Prime Day Deal.
Although Prime Day doesn't actually arrive until Oct. 11, 2023, Amazon is already releasing its first of many Prime Day deals specials on the selected music streaming platform.
Normally, the original Amazon Music subscription costs $10.99 a month with a 30-day free trial, but in the new offer, subscribers can get as much as four months of free trial before a monthly subscription kicks in.
Subscribers can avail of the Amazon Music 3-month trial for free if they have no Prime Membership. As for Amazon Prime Members, they can enjoy up to four months of uninterrupted music and podcast listening to over 100 million music and top podcasts worldwide.
Echo Dots and other Amazon products also come with a 4-month free trial, which lasts until Prime Day expires on Oct. 11, 2023. Check this link out for the list of products included in the sale.
"To help us bring you even more content and features, we're updating the prices of select Amazon Music Unlimited plans," Amazon said in a notice, as quoted by the publication.
Music streamers can avail of the free trial to check out how the platform differs from others like Spotify and Apple Music. Per Variety, Amazon Music has become the most preferred music streaming platform for audiophiles as it has been highly reviewed for its high-fidelity tracks and lossless listening experience.
How Much is Amazon Music Subscription 2023?
Earlier this January 2023, Amazon Music was the first of the many streaming platforms who increase their rates for their monthly subscription. (via Variety)
As of October 2023, Amazon Music individual plans are now priced at $10.99 per month, an increase on last year's $9.99. Meanwhile, the Amazon Music Unlimited Student Plan also saw a dollar increase from $4.99 to $5.99 per month.
According to Amazon, the hike was necessary "to help us bring you even more content and features, we're updating the prices of select Amazon Music Unlimited plans."
