Pete Davidson made his way back to "Saturday Night Live" as a guest host for the show's 49th season premiere and he started the episode with a bang as he appeared to have thrown a shade at Kanye West following his previous comments about him.
According to Billboard, the first-ever episode of the new season featured a parody of the song "I'm Just Ken" from Greta Gerwig's "Barbie" which starred Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling As Ken.
The premiere for the show had been delayed for quite a while due to strike, but thankfully, the Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers finally reached an agreement.
In Davidson's version of the song, he sings the line: "I'm just Pete/ Looking like a meth head on the street/ People online still call me 'Skete'/ Because of a guy whose name I can't say legally."
Pete Davidson Shades Kanye West in 'I'm Just Ken' Parody
Pete Davidson wore a complete Ken-inspired look, but the only difference is he was shirtless in the video.
The background and set design also screamed Barbie as it was appropriately themed similar to the plastic-filled and pink-colored Barbieland.
The line he sang in the song appeared to be derived from Kanye West's history of trolling him around the internet as he was the one who dubbed him as "Skete."
To give context to those who missed it, Kanye West was previously married to "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" reality star Kim Kardashian.

After their marriage and having four children together, the SKIMS founder went on to date Davidson.
Since then Kanye West continued to share negative insights about the comedian around the internet and even through music.
Per the outlet, West later reacted to Davidson and Kardashian's breakup after 9 months by sharing a fake headline which read "Skete Davidson dead at age 28."

Two of which included Taylor Swift and her rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce.
According to a source who spoke with Page Six, the pair seemed to have enjoyed each other's company as they kissed throughout the evening.
