"It's embarrassing when you're not on ketamine anymore, though... I'm embarrassed," the singer said.

"I was out and about like that. That's not cool, you know? I was at funerals like that. That's f***** up, right? I was at Aretha Franklin's funeral like that. Yeah, I have to live with that. You know what I mean? She'll never know, but still, that's not the point," he added. (via Consequence)

Pete Davidson's Previous Struggles With Ketamine

According to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, the drug could be used to treat depression because when a person uses ketamine, it allows them to feel detached from their pain and environment, but it could lead to sedation and amnesia.

Fortunately, Pete Davidson sought professional help and went to rehab for the betterment of his future.

"I am fresh out of rehab, everyone... I got that post-rehab glow. Seventh time's the charm!" he joked at one of his shows when he came back to performing after spending time at a rehabilitation facility.

Pete Davidson is now in his 30s and he wanted to start a brand new decade fresh as he wanted to get rid of the drugs anymore.

"You can't do drugs in your 30s... it's not cute anymore... you're just a drug addict," he said.
