BLACKPINK has decided to renew the group's contracts with their label, YG Entertainment, however, their individual contracts are a completely different matter.

"BLACKPINK consents to 'group-based' activities... Two members' contracts have already been signed," read a report regarding the highly controversial and anticipated news.

According to reports, though, there are still some members who are seriously considering going solo.

"Some agencies are extending offers with down payments in the tens of billions of won to attract them," a source revealed.

"Nevertheless, certain members feel that partnering with YG, the entity that has backed BLACKPINK's endeavors thus far, is a more effective approach, and they are currently in ongoing discussions with YG."

Meanwhile, YG Entertainment is trying to appease investors and stockholders by sharing little information about what is happening behind the scenes.

"As of the disclosure date, negotiations for a new exclusive contract with the artists are in progress," YG Entertainment's latest statement reads. "The final results will be announced through subsequent disclosures of key management matters related to investment decisions."

BLACKPINK Disbanding?

Rumors about BLACKPINK having problems with the renewal of their contract have been going on for months since their initial exclusive contract expired last August.

Fans were beginning to worry that the group might never return with all four members-Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose.

However, they were still vocal about their support and how they would support each of the members regardless of the outcome of the contract negotiations.

"Who would have thought they would renew their contract, but still a big congratulations to the girls," one wrote.

"About 3 MONTHS OF WORRYING I CAN FINALLY GO TO SLEEP PEACEFULLY HOPEFULLY THIS IS CONFIRM," another added.

Lisa Leaving BLACKPINK?

Aside from the disbandment rumors, there have been whispers online that Lisa might be leaving the KPOP girl group in favor of going solo, after all, her solo music has reached unimaginable heights since her debut.

On top of that, many allege that Lisa might not even need to return to KPOP altogether because she has found herself a wealthy boyfriend-Frederic Arnault, the CEO of TAG Heuer, and son of LVMH chairman Bernard Arnault.

According to reports, Lisa turned down two contract renewals, amounting to around $37.6 million.

While fans have supported the alleged relationship, it seems like it's doing more damage to YG Entertainment whose stocks have fallen since the rumors began circulating online.
