After revealing that a Fifth Harmony reunion might be in the cards, Ally Brooke has given fans an update on exactly how far along that plan is.
"We're women now and we have grown so much and we have done our own thing, gone our own ways, and gone our own path. And now we're together in a different light," the singer said during her interview with Billboard.
She also revealed that she is the one spearheading the reunion plans, but did not indicate how it is doing; "I'm trying to reunite with them, so I think some sort of reunion may happen."
Talks about a Fifth Harmony reunion come after Brooke released an upcoming holiday EP, "Under the Tree."
Meanwhile, other members of the girl group have also been relatively dormant since their "hiatus" a few years back.
Ally Brooke Reunites With Fifth Harmony Roots
After Fifth Harmony went their separate ways, Brooke dabbled in Latin music, however, she is now returning to her pop music roots.
"Well, I was going to the Latin route and I loved it, but I felt like I really wanted to go back to who I truly was, you know, the pop artist that I am," she explained.
"I have recently reconnected with my former A&R from the Fifth Harmony days, named Joey Arbagey. He's amazing; he's responsible for all the hits. We recently reconnected," she added.
Perhaps this reconnection was one of the major reasons why the singer wanted a Fifth Harmony reunion.

Fifth Harmony Reunion
According to reports, this is not the first time Brooke has revealed information on Fifth Harmony's rumored reunion.
Back in October, she revealed that she and the girls were "working on something" and that it would be happening "sooner than we'd think."
The singer later backtracked on her statement and noted how that "something" may not even be music at all.
"I'm thrilled to see there's a lot of interest surrounding Fifth Harmony," she wrote. "Reunion has many meanings and while there's no official band reunion happening at the moment, some beautiful friendships and relationships are slowly reuniting in a healing and empowering way."
Fifth Harmony went on an indefinite hiatus after former member Camila Cabello left the group. The members explained that the break was to "pursue solo endeavors."
