Happy birthday, Lars Ulrich! In honor of the Metallica member's special day, let's take a dive into his personal life, net worth, early beginnings, and his band's massive tour this 2024; check out all the details below.

Born Lars Ulrich on December 26, 1963, the singer is now 60 years old! He was the son of renowned tennis player Torben Ulrich.

Since one of Torben's pals couldn't go, he decided to bring a then nine-year-old Lars to watch the concert and his son was so mesmerized by the band's performance. The next day, Lars bought their "Fireball" album, and it struck his interest in music.

By the age of 12 or 13, he received a drum kit. Initially, he intended to follow in his father's footsteps in the world of tennis as his grandfather was also a successful athlete.

However, despite his success in the sport, he decided to focus on music later in life.
